In the boat, someone found Josey asleep; he wore a life jacket, but his mother didn’t. The kid told the Police that the boy had forced her back into the boat, but Rivera could not get back on board and then disappeared underwater.

Naya mustered enough energy to get her son back onto the boat but not enough to save herself, Ayub stated. After searching for six days, they finally found her body floating in the northeast region of the lake.
