Eight months after dating, Blackstone proposed to Maria for the first time. Unfortunately, she was rejected as she wasn’t ready to be a wife at that time. Eventually, Maria accepted Rodney’s 2nd proposal after proposing to her when they were hiking in L.A. Blackstone romantically proposed to her with a floral-inspired ring featuring a halo. She explained about the incident, saying, “When I saw this ring, I fell in love with it. I know nothing about it other than I knew I wanted rose gold and something that shines from every angle.”
