The talented singer, Nightbirde contested on the famous reality TV show America Got Talent in 2021. During that time, she was struggling with cancer. Because of that, she could not compete in the quarterfinals as her health got worst.

According to TMZ and several other strong sources, the singer had died on 20th February 2022. She was under treatment for the disease while she took her last breath. Not to mention, her voice, her story, and her message while performing her original ‘It’s Ok‘ has touched millions of people out there.

After the demise of Nightbirde, her family shared a sweet message with USA Today. It was,

“We, her family, are devastated by her passing and unimaginable loss. Many remember her from America’s Got Talent, where she performed her song ‘It’s OK’ and inspired millions of people around the globe with her messages of faith and never giving up.”

She said that she had a 2% chance of surviving with cancer in the lungs, spine, and liver during her audition. But 2% is not 0%.

The death of Nightbirde devasts not only the fans and family of Nightbirde but several A-listed celebrities. Show host Terry Crews wrote via Instagram,

We are saddened to learn about @_nightbirde’s Passing. Our Condolences goes to her Closest Family & Friends in such of This difficult time. We Love you, Nightbirde.”

“@_nightbirde was such a bright inspirational light in all our lives. We must continue to live and learn from her words and lyrics. As much as I feel horribly about her passing I feel lucky to to have met, heard and known her.”
