Her mother claimed that her daughter had been in pain for years due to her scoliosis and that there was nothing else she could do for her but have her the operation.

Christine imagined how it would feel to be able to provide her kid with the care she needed before the treatment. “I’ll feel like a decent mother tomorrow, not that I don’t now. But I’ll finally be able to offer her everything I wanted.” She said.

Ysabel’s Surgery Brought her Parents To Divorce

Christine and Ysabel flew to New Jersey so the girl could have her scoliosis corrected. On the other hand, Kody refuses to travel with them, citing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. He told the cameras, “I’m not driving with Christine and Ysabel on the way to surgery, I’m not going to surgery, I think it’s highly unsafe.“

So, rather than traveling and being quarantined, Kody chose to stay at home with Robyn and their children. Ysabel was devastated by this. Kody’s absence from his daughter’s operation enraged Sister Wives followers.
